Description: Amnesty Widget Browser is a utility for Mac OS X Tiger and Panther (10.3.9) that allows Dashboard widgets to have expanded capabilities as they run directly on your desktop via a convenient icon in your system menu bar..Widgets loaded in Amnesty Widget Browser run completely outside of Apple's Dashboard environment, maintain their own preferences and feature adjustable settings such as window level (desktop, standard or floating), opacity (transparency) and shape (now you can rotate and scale your widgets so they fit on your desktop where you want them). Widgets can also be arranged into multiple virtual workspaces that can be called up - by menu or hot key - to the screen at any time. This "independence" from Dashboard means Panther users can get in on Apple's widget experience, using Amnesty Widget Browser to run many third-party Dashboard widgets (a library of sample widgets is bundled with every copy).Fully functional 30 day trial. What's new in this version:Fixes issues with Weather after 10.5.3 OS X u...

Description: Cuckoo brings clock chimes back to the Mac. Play a beep on the hour---or on the half-hour, or every five minutes if you must. You can use one of Cuckoo's tasteful built-in tones, or any of your Mac's installed sounds. Cuckoo has its own volume control, so your chimes can be a subtle part of your work environment. And Cuckoo will go silent altogether if you want (for example, while iTunes is playing music or videos, or when the screen saver is active). What's new in this version:Performance: Cuckoo now works harder to ensure that the chime sound (and QuickTime itself) are loaded into RAM before it's time to chime. This should help address some rare situations where chimes would be missed, or would judder and skip during playback. (Thanks to Robert, Lauren, and other users who helped me test this fix.)Update checking: Cuckoo now quits System Preferences when downloading an update (to ensure that the correct code is loaded when the new version is installed).Update checking: Stability fixes. Description: Quay extends the Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Dock to show extended popup menus for most Dock items, including applications, stacks, Smart Folders and URLs. Quay also allows you to make folder proxy icons with easily customized icons. So why should you use Quay at all? Extra information, more flexibility. For one, the Dock's popups are limited to about 500 items; Quay's limit is in the tens of thousands. You can have a Quay popup on both sides of the Dock; Apple has them only on the document side. The Dock doesn't follow aliases/symbolic links in its menus; Quay does. It works for Smart Folders, also shows application versions and (for running applications) CPU and memory statistics. Still, if for some reason you want the Dock's normal display, just hold the Option key down before clicking.Quay is a simple-to-use Cocoa application. You can run it just to configure a popup item in the Dock, but it works automatically with your existing stacks; the actual popup is handled by a background process that uses few sys...
