Description: Firewall Builder is a multi-platform firewall configuration and management system. It consists of a GUI and set of policy compilers for various firewall platforms. It helps users maintain a database of objects and allows policy editing using simple drag-and-drop operations. The GUI and policy compilers are completely independent, this provides for a consistent abstract model and the same GUI for different firewall platforms. It currently supports iptables, ipfilter, ipfw, OpenBSD pf and Cisco PIX.What's new in this version:Policy compilers for Cisco PIX (supports FWSM and ASA appliances) and IOS extended access lists have been released under GPL and included in the main package. Changes in the packaging: now we ship only two RPMs: one for the fwbuilder library (libfwbuilder-2.1.18.rpm) and the other for the GUI and all 6 policy compilers (fwbuilder-2.1.18.rpm)
