Description: Circuit simulation is a way of building and testing virtual models of electronic devices. It is usually cheaper and quicker to simulate a design than to build a prototype. MacSpice, like most circuit simulators, requires a text-file description of the circuit as input. This 'netlist' is a list of components and the nodes they connect to. Users may prepare netlists with a text editor, or derive them from a circuit diagram using a third-party schematic-capture application. MacSpice then builds a numerical model of the circuit and analyses this.A command interpreter (shell) is used to specify the types of analyses that are required and how the results should be processed, saved or displayed. The high quality of the MacSpice command interpreter makes the automation of tasks straightforward.MacSpice has native support for both PowerPC and Intel architecture Apple Macintosh computers. It is derived from, and compatible with, Berkeley Spice 3f5. MacSpice incorporates many improvements to Spice 3f5 - from simple ... Description: breve is a simulation environment which allows users to define the behaviors and interactions of different types of agents in a simulated 3D world and observe the emergent behaviors. breve is conceptually similar to packages such as Swarm and StarLogo, but simulates objects in a continuous 3D world with continuous time. breve thus allows simulation involving realistic collision detection and physics.Agent behaviors are written in a simple object oriented language called "steve". Users define an agent's behavior by specifying how the agent interacts with the world at each timestep and how the agent interacts when it collides with other agents. breve includes support for collision detection and physical simulation of articulated bodies. What's new in this version:breve 2.7.2 fixes a crash during startup on Mac OS X, issues with the breveIDE for Windows and Linux, and a problem deleting objects in Python simulations. Description: Mr. Tides displays tide and current information for a variety of locations around the world. It can display the day's tides, the week's tides, or the month's tides in two different ways. You select a station via the maps presented by Mr. Tides, or by searching the station list. What's new in this version:Updated the harmonics files to remove duplicate stations caused by importing all the old NOAA stations. They changed a lot of the station names, so there were a lot of duplicates. Unfortunately, this will affect some saved stations - they wonât be found in the databases and so wonât open.Current substations compute their slack times correctly now. Before, in certain cases the slack times were out of order and caused Mr. Tides to either crash or not display any data.Fixed a bug when the first entry in the text view was astronomical, it would show the tide events under a duplicated date after the astronomical entry.Text view now finds the correct top three maximum and minimum events.Printer setting... Description: Dilo looks up words at http://dict.leo.org and shows the english or german translation of that word. It is kind of comparable to "Babylon" for Windows but uses a public web-dictionary instead of having a local one. if you want to see how LEO works, please go to http://dict.leo.org and try it out yourself. You can start up Dilo directly and enter something into the search field to search for or you can call it through the services menu Define in Dilo. It doesn't matter whether you are searching for an english description of a german word or vice versa (and french/german, spanish/german respectively). Just select the word in the editor you are using, choose "Services->Define in Dilo" (or "Services->Define French in Dolo") and that's it.What's new in this version:Dilo now remembers the state of language-popup setting between sessions and added French translation (thanks to Ange).
