Description: SimplyRAR is a Cocoa based file compression utility based on the very popular RAR file archive compression utility. RAR compresses data files extremely well compared to others that are available on the market but lacks a good GUI for use on the Macintosh. SimplyRAR aims to fill this void making it a pleasure to use this great archive compression utility. SimplyRAR will not only make rar compression archives but will also unrar archives too, other features include the ability to add a comment to the archive (useful to add instructions etc.), password protect archives, you can also create spilt volume archives making it easy to transfer packages. SimplyRAR is also capable of Testing the integrity of archive Set that you create. SimplyRAR will also let you set the compression level, ranging from storing files to very compact small archives. SimplyRAR is also able to create Par2 redundancy sets allowing users to repair incomplete or damaged archive files.
