Manic (Dec 14, 2007): This software is absolutely terrible. Everything is blocked. Even the crappiest sites you can think of such as neopets. Pogo is blocked, google image, fucking everything. It's total bullshit. It's more so a torture device for anyone over the age of 3.

My mom put it on my computer, and it went crazy. It shut off the internet completeky on one of my computers, and has restricted the other one so much that I can't even access YouTube anymore

BANANA CHIPS (Oct 13, 2007): OH MY FUCKING GOD I HATE THIS. My parents 'hired' my grama (she's like 70 or 80 something years old) to look after me while they went to Vancouver. My parents didn't think I needed parental controls, but my grama did. She freaked out when she saw me chatting with my COUSIN on msn, and went straight into the lectures. Before I know it, she grounds me, and sends me to my room! WTF?!?! Of course I'm not going to give in that easily, so I pretend that I'm going to my room, but I watch her on the computer from the door. I see her insulting my cousin, and telling him to never talk to me again. (i know that she said that stuff because she was yelling it out while she typed it) When my gram saw my webcam, she was even more pissed off. She tore it from the computer, and continued to blab about how I'm 'in danger' or something. The next day, I get up before my gram to go on the computer and apologize to my cousin, and find that I can't even log on to msn. Plus, I can barely use the internet because even GOOGLE.COM is BLOCKED!!!! The only site that I tried and wasn't blocked was neopets and some other stupid five-year-old crap sites. To make matters worse, the homepage was now a homework-helper search engine. I was so pissed off, and knew this was what she had downloaded. DONT DOWNLOAD THIS!!! THINK ABOUT YOUR KIDS AND HOW THEY WILL SUFFER HUMILIATION AT SCHOOL WHEN THEY SAY THEY CANT GO ON PICZO.COM OR MSN!!! THINK ABOUT THE KIDS!!! THEYRE NOT THAT STUPID!!!

My dad put it on my computer and it signs me off aim if someone says "brothers" or "call me"!! It's rediculous!! I DO NOT RECCOMEND IT. WASTE OF MONEY. Joey Da Styk (Jul 12, 2007): I hate this program. My dad put it on the computer and hell has broke loose on the internet. Almost every web page I visit is blocked, and most of those have no nasty content! ContentBarrier X4 just tells bullshit and gets away. Before this was installed on to my mac, there were several pages that didn't have porn in them, and ContentBarrier says they do when they obviously don't! Someday, I will send Intego an e-mail "thanking" them for making ContentBarrier X4. It will have an attachment. You know what is? I'll tell you: a virus.
