Description: Use Safari Prairiefire for weeding in Safari's bookmarks jungle. Isn't it time to retire all those bookmarks that expired months ago? Too many bookmarks just make things sluggish. Going through bookmarks is a process so tedious that it is rarely done. This application displays Safari's bookmarks in an iTunes-like list, and determines if they point to dead and missing links. View bookmarks by name, URL, but also on type of problem with the link. Bookmarks can be deleted or corrected without going to Safari. The user has full control over the process, can decide to scan through all bookmarks or a selection, and can also test individual bookmarks directly by launching them from the application. Bookmarks can be renamed and edited. Support for proxies, RSS feeds, and runs on Panther, Tiger, and Leopard. What's new in this version:Fixes an issue with the buttons Edit Bookmark and Visit Site remaining grayed out. Thanks to JPC for reporting this bug.

Description: Temperature Monitor Widget Edition is the Dashboard version of its "bigger brother" Temperature Monitor. It is recommended that you use Temperature Monitor first before using the widget edition to learn more about the sensor equipment of your computer. The applications are designed to give you access to all temperature sensor readings Mac OS X uses to monitor and cool your computer. The widget allows you to select two of your computer's temperature sensors which should be displayed via Dashboard. The sensor readouts are displayed in a compact panel.Unlike other widgets, Temperature Monitor is capable of processing the hardware calibration data Apple stores individually into each G5-based computer. So it displays the exact readings Mac OS X internally uses for cooling control, not just an "educated guess".For detailed technical information about sensor discovery please see the developer's site. What's new in this version:Added support for new portable Mac systems with Intel T8000 processors.Added temperature... NewsFire constantly checks for freshly published news from your list of news feeds and notifies you. There's even some eye-candy involved - NewsFire's list of news feeds is animated just like iChat, so feeds swoop around as news is discovered. There's a variety of RSS readers on Mac OS X, but none offer the style of NewsFire. NewsFire is brimming with Aqua-beauty and a rich, dynamic user experience. The others feel aesthetically unpleasant, bloated, and stuc...
