Description: BootPicker runs whenever LoginWindow is present. Based upon your configuration, it presents an option to the end user to choose an operating system. Upon choosing that OS, the machine either continues to Mac OS X or reboots to the specified OS. The next time the computer is rebooted, it automatically returns to Mac OS X and the boot picker.BootPicker was designed to meet the needs of both end-users as well as system administrators managing the mass deployment of hundreds or thousands of dual-boot Macs.What's new in this version:Overhauled how the BootPicker Preference Pane presents the Windows and Linux boot volume settings. This now forces the setting to be saved via the device ID rather than the volume name which (really) resolves intermittent issues with Windows not booting and instead reporting "Error loading operating system." This small change also allows BootPicker to present a Windows volume even if it is not mounted.
