Intego ContentBarrier X4 (seandawg): ok, i just have to say, i hated this program, but luckily, i havnt had it on my computer for about 1 year now (thank god) my dad installed it on my freaking ibook a couple years ago and it didnt let me do SHIT. google-blocked, addictinggames-blocked, yahoo=blocked, youtube-blocked. luckily last year, my ibook started to act up so my dad brought it into work and had some dude delete a whole buncha stuff so it would work again and thank god he deleted content barrier (he must have know what it felt like to only be able to go on clubpenguin on your compy only. So now im free! sux 4 u

Cyberduck (billsibook): Cyberduck is one of the best FTP apps for the Mac. easy to set up and everything else is just drag and drop. Brilliant

Merlin (): Merlin is great. Not only a pro tool for project management on the Mac but also full collaborative way of work. You can share your projects online with other Merlin users, edit them by a supported web browser or the Merlin iPhone app. Great software!

TopXNotes (Web Ace): I just downloaded the new 1.5 version and love it. TopXNotes lets me keep all my formatted and straight text notes in one place. I used to keep TextEdit documents in my Documents folder but often had to hunt for the ones I wanted through a large folder. Since I've imported them all into TopXNotes I can instantly locate text inside any or all notes. Its numerous formatting options are always right at hand, including font, size, style, text color, emphasis color (highlighting), document color, and justification. It even checks spelling as I type. I right-clicked on the toolbar and customized it to have the functions I use most. The ability to sort by note name, category, creation date, and modified date allows me to quickly isolate the notes I want. I like the new striped background in the NoteOrganizer window. I can password protect the entire database or individual notes. Once I get a note to my liking I can write protect it.

SlingPlayer (): good luck getting it to work with anything but mac intell, support sucks as usual with english as a second language speakers.
